The city of Vigo, located in the Northwest coast of Spain and border with Portugal, has a census of more than 300.000 inhabitants, but where around 500.000 people live and work in this area.
Because of the link of Vigo to the sea, it has led to the development of an important naval industry, probably the most important in Spain, being constituted in a fundamental pillar for the Galician and Spanish economy.
The city is perfectly communicated: by sea, through their commercial, fishing and tourist ports; by lorry, with railcars and freeways that connect to the rest of Spain and Europe; by air, through the Peinador airport.
